The primary reason that lenders look carefully at your credit rating is that they don’t want you to get into a home that you can’t afford. This makes sense to everyone. No one likes to be living beyond their affordable budget.

There are times when one goes through a difficult period and then begins to move into better financial opportunities such as a new job. If you are having trouble getting a mortgage, give me a call and we will consider:

  • We may be able to find a lender that specializes in bad credit mortgages. We can apply even if there has been a bankruptcy, as your circumstances may have now changed.
  • Due to the low-interest environment, some lenders will charge a higher percentage to take on more mortgage risk for credit-challenged customers. We will work to get you the fairest rate possible.
